ITINERARY
DAY ONE>
Fly to Poland
Fly from Grand Rapids airport OR transfer via provided shuttle from the West Michigan area to Chicago O’Hare International Airport to take your flight to Poland’s vibrant capital city of Warsaw!
Enjoy a comfortable flight on a full-service airline, where you will have full meal service, complimentary alcoholic beverages, & in-flight personal entertainment.
DAY TWO>
Warsaw, Poland
After arriving in Warsaw this morning, we will transfer by private bus to our hotel located in Warsaw’s Old Town.
After some free time to freshen up and have lunch, we will meet our local tour guide for a private 2-hour tour of Warsaw’s highlights. We will see sites such as:

Pierogi Making Class
This evening, enjoy an amazing Pierogi dumpling cooking class! During this experience, you will prepare pierogis with meat and/or vegetarian fillings. Learn how to knead the dough, then learn various techniques of folding the dumplings and discover hacks that make them really tasty. Lastly, enjoy a plate full of dumplings.
Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland, located along the Vistula River. Founded in the Middle Ages, Warsaw became Poland’s capital in 1596 and grew into an important political, cultural, and economic center.

DAY FOUR>
Wroclaw, Poland
This morning, we will visit the elaborate 17th century Wilanów Palace, which blends French, Italian, and Polish seamlessly into its formal baroque style and formal gardens. At the heart of the Wilanów residence is the Palace of King Jan III. Admire opulent royal apartments, see masterful works of art, and stroll through manicured gardens & museum.
After our visit, we will proceed to the train station for a fun train ride to Wrocław. Wroclaw is known as the “Venice of Poland” with numerous islands connected by over 120 bridges on the Oder River. This city features one of the largest medieval market squares with a gorgeous Gothic-style Town Hall.
After we check-in to our hotel, we will hop aboard a sightseeing boat for a relaxing scenic ride down the Oder River, giving us the most amazing views of Wrocław!
Wrocław is one of Poland’s oldest and most beautiful cities, located along the Oder River in southwestern Poland. With a history dating back more than 1,000 years, Wrocław has been shaped by Polish, German, and Czech influences. The city is known for its colorful Market Square, historic architecture, beautiful bridges and islands, and its famous collection of charming bronze dwarf statues.

DAY FIVE>
Wroclaw, Poland
Begin the day with a walking tour through the “Rynek” (Market Square) in the historic heart of Wrocław. It’s one of the largest and most beautiful medieval market squares in Europe. Established in the 13th century, it is surrounded by colorful historic townhouses, restaurants, cafés, and shops and features a famous astronomical clock!
Our tour continues Old Town Hall with its amazing Gothic architecture, and to Solny Square Flower Market.
We will walk down several narrow medieval streets to Wroclaw University with a baroque assembly hall and the Market Hall bursting with local food vendors.
The tour will end at Ostrów Tumski, which is the oldest and most tranquil part of the city, also known as Cathedral Island.
The rest of the day will be at your leisure, or you can choose one of our optional excursions!

Krakow, Poland
This morning, we will proceed to the train station for a scenic train ride to Krakow! After we check-in to our centrally-located hotel, there will be time to freshen up before we meet our guide for a walking tour of the city.

Kraków is one of Poland’s oldest and most historic cities, located along the Vistula River in southern Poland. It served as Poland’s royal capital from the 11th century until 1596, when the capital was moved to Warsaw. Today, Kraków is renowned for its beautifully preserved Old Town, the magnificent Wawel Castle, and its historic Jewish quarter of Kazimierz. Despite suffering relatively little destruction during World War II, Kraków retains much of its medieval character and is one of Poland’s most popular cultural and tourist destinations.

DAY SEVEN>
Krakow, Poland
Today, enjoy a free day to wake up slowly and stroll about Krakow at your leisure, or join us on these fantastic excursions!

Krakow Food Tour
Today, meet your local guide for a food tour of the city! Explore Krakow one bite at a time and try delicious traditional dishes. We will start the tour in the Jewish Quarter where you'll try a typical Zapiekanka - local flatbread pizza. Next, we’ll visit one of the oldest bars in Krakow for a classic honey-flavored vodka. We'll stop at a 100-year-old Polish restaurant to discover the most beloved local soup before visiting an authentic historic milk bar (communist-era cantine) for Poland's legendary Pierogi. Next, we will visit a local pub to sample some Polish beer and Bigos. Finally, we will sample Oscypek - highlanders’ smoked sheep cheese - with cranberry jam, and lastly end with a surprise sweet treat to finish the tour.

DAY EIGHT>
Krakow, Poland
Today, we will hop on our private bus to Wieliczka Salt Mine, where we will enjoy a half-day tour of this incredible spot! Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of Poland’s most remarkable historic attractions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located just outside Kraków, the mine has been producing salt since the 13th century and remained in operation for more than 700 years. We will explore its underground chambers, tunnels, salt lakes, and spectacular chapels carved entirely from salt, including the magnificent Chapel of St. Kinga. The mines go down an astonishing 1073 feet below ground, and our group will reach 443 feet!

Krakow, Poland
Today is a completely free day to explore the city at your own pace. Choose to wake up slowly, stroll through the central market, or shop for souvenirs. Today is your day to do as you like.

Tatras Mountains & Hot Spring Full Day Tour
Set aside time to unwind on your vacation with a relaxing day trip to Zakopane and its thermal springs. Along the way, you’ll stop in two charming villages. Next, take the mountain funicular to see panoramic views of the Tatras Mountains and valley villages. Next, you will arrive at the Chochołów Thermal Baths. Once there, enjoy several hours soaking in the warm, rejuvenating pools before heading back to Krakow.
