ITINERARY

DAY ONE>

Fly to The Netherlands

This morning, we will meet in West Michigan, and our private coach will transfer us to the Chicago O’Hare airport (if flights are not available at the Grand Rapids airport) for our flight across the Atlantic to the Netherlands!

 

Our flight will include all meals, beverages, and entertainment.

DAY TWO>

Amsterdam, Netherlands

This morning, we will arrive in the vibrant city of Amsterdam, Netherlands! After we clear customs and collect our baggage, our private coach will escort us to our centrally located hotel in Amsterdam. We will have time to relax and unwind before we meet our local guide for a walking tour of the city. We will see sights such as:  

  • Barbican 

  • Market Square

  • Castle Square

  • Sigismund Column

  • The Medieval City Walls

  • And so much more!

 

Afterwards, our guide can give excellent recommendations for shopping, attractions, and restaurants nearby during your free time.

DAY THREE>

Warsaw, Poland

Today, view the iconic Wilanów Palace! This 17th-century palace blends French, Italian, and Polish seamlessly into its formal baroque style and formal gardens. At the heart of the Wilanów residence is the palace of King Jan III. Admire opulent royal apartments, see masterful works of art, and stroll through manicured gardens.

 

Afterwards, enjoy free time in the area or join us on these fun excursions!

OPTIONAL EXCURSION

  • Pierogi Cooking Class

This evening, enjoy an amazing Pierogi dumpling cooking class! During this experience, you will prepare pierogis with meat and/or vegetarian fillings. Learn how to knead the dough, then you will learn various techniques of folding the dumplings and discover hacks that make them really tasty. Lastly, enjoy a plate full of dumplings.

  • Chopin Concert

Spend the evening listening to a fantastic pianist performing some of Chopin’s most famous compositions, such as études, nocturnes, polonaises, and more!

DAY FOUR>

Wroclaw, Poland

This morning, we will proceed to the train station for a fun train ride to Wroclaw. Wroclaw is known as the “Venice of Poland” with numerous islands connected by over 120 bridges on the Oder River. This city features one of the largest medieval market squares with a gorgeous, Gothic-style Town Hall.

After we check-in to our hotel, we will have the evening to relax and unwind or join us on this cool excursion!

OPTIONAL EXCURSION

  • Wroclaw Catamaran Cruise

Relax and enjoy fresh breezes while sailing on a fun catamaran. See the city in a new way as we gently float down the Oder River.

DAY FIVE>

Wroclaw, Poland

Today is free to do as you wish or choose to join us on one of these awesome excursions!

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

  • Ksiaz Castle and Church of Peace Full Day Tour

First, descend 60 meters underground and learn about the ambitious secret tunnels used in WWII, known as Project Reise, under Ksaiz Castle. Next, become immersed in the opulence of the magnificent Ksaiz Castle. This 13th century has panoramic views of the surrounding hills and picturesque landscapes surrounding the castle. Next, step into the amazing Peace Church in Swidnica. This UNESCO World Heritage site features impressive craftsmanship and engineering devoted to God; before heading back to Wroclaw.

  • Polish Craft Beer Tour 

Bar-hop with the best. Your expert guide will teach you about the history of beer brewing in Poland. They will explain different types of microbrews, the ingredients, and unique pairings throughout your delicious adventure through Old Town Wroclaw.

DAY SIX>

Krakow, Poland

This morning, we will proceed to the train station for a scenic train ride to Krakow. After we check-in, there will be time to freshen up before we meet our guide for a walking tour of the city. A walking tour is a great way to get acquainted with the city and learn about the history and culture of Poland. You will see sites such as:

  • ​St. Mary's Basilica

  • The Krakow Trumpeteer

  • St. 

  • Rosary Quay

  • The Smallest Street

  • And so much more!

 

Afterwards, we will have free time in the city to relax and explore at our leisure.

DAY SEVEN>

Bruges, Belgium

Today is a free day to go at your own pace or choose to join us on one of these incredible adventures!

  • Belgian Chocolate Experience 

Create your own Belgian chocolate during a Belgian chocolate-making workshop! You’ll learn to make three different types of chocolate from scratch—including pralines, truffles, and hot chocolate. Afterward, take home your amazing creations in a decadent golden box.

  • Beer BrewHaHa

Today, visit the rich history of Belgium’s most famous brewery, De Halve Maan. The journey begins in the brewing hall, where all the beers are brewed. Discover the many brewing methods that have been used over the past centuries. At the end of your journey, enjoy a beer with 360° panoramic views of the city at the rooftop bar.

DAY EIGHT>

This morning, we will proceed to the train station for a comfortable and scenic train journey across Belgium to the capital city of Brussels, which is famed for its charming blend of history and modernity.

After we check-in to our hotel, we will have the afternoon to explore the city.

We will stop at The Grand-Place; which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This market square, which dates back to the 12th century, offers a rich culinary scene, architectural delights, and great shopping.

OPTIONAL EXURSION:

  • Private Gourmet Food Tour

Today, choose to wake up slowly and enjoy a Belgian waffle or join us for one of these fantastic tours!

  • Full Day Tour of Luxembourg

Today, take the train to the city of Luxembourg! This tiny country is full of wonderful surprises. Absorb the unique charm of Luxembourg as you visit landmarks like the Royal Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the European Court of Justice with your knowledgeable guide. Before heading back to Brussels, stop in the beautiful town of Dinant and see its 13th-century cathedral.
