Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina
This morning, we will meet at the Grand Rapids airport for your flight to the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, Argentina! Our flight will include all meals, beverages, and entertainment.
DAY TWO>
Buenos Aires, Argentina
This morning, we will arrive in sunny Buenos Aires, Argentina! After we clear customs and collect our baggage, our private coach will escort us to our centrally located hotel in Buenos Aires. We will have time to relax and unwind before we meet our local guide for a tour of the city. We will see sights such as:

This morning, our private coach will escort us to the cruise terminal, where we will board our Princess Cruise. After you check-in and settle into your oceanview stateroom, you have the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore the ship and enjoy entertainment on board.

On these days, you are free to do whatever you like onboard our ship. The Sapphire Princess offers a wide variety of activities to keep you entertained while at sea: Choose to relax in one of many hot tubs, mingle with other guests at themed parties, indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment, flex your skills in a game of pickleball, or test your luck at the casino.

Punta Arenas, Chile

Today, embark on a water shuttle to the village of Punta Arenas, Chile (provided). Punta Arenas lies atop rolling hills, looking out over the Strait of Magellan. In the days before the Panama Canal, this was a major port as ships plied the waters of Cape Horn. Punta Arenas remains a prosperous town today, thanks to its rich natural resources. The city is also the gateway to Chilean Patagonia, a maze of fjords, rivers, and mountains to the north. To the south lies the great frozen mass of Antarctica. Adventure awaits in any direction at this port located near the end of the earth.

Ready to visit the “End of the World”? Antarctic Peninsula Scenic Cruising
Enjoy several days of scenic sailing around Antarctica, including Elephant Island, Gerlache Strait, Deception Island, and Antarctic Peninsula!
Less than 0.01% of the world’s population will get the opportunity to see Antarctica. We will have four whole days of scenic cruising amongst the fjords and glaciers to see playful penguins and majestic whales with panoramic views right from the deck of our luxurious ship. Falkland Islands (Stanley)

Tiny Stanley lies on the windswept tip of East Falkland Island. Colorful houses occupy the low rolling moorland bordering Stanley Harbor. The Falklands long served as a way station for ships, particularly whalers, bound to and from Cape Horn. Today, travelers increasingly journey to the islands to view their rich assortment of birds and marine life. Gentoo, Megellanic, and King Penguin colonies can be seen all over the island! They raise their young on beautiful sandy beaches and dive through white-crested waves in search of fish.

Montevideo is a charming city with 19th-century Beaux Arts buildings, parks, and historical monuments. The relaxed pace of life and tree-lined avenues make for a wonderfully walkable city. Montevideo boasts delicious red wines and lovely wineries!

Buenos Aires, Argentina
Today, we will say goodbye to the Sapphire Princess and proceed to the port terminal. Our private coach will meet us at the terminal and whisk us away to the Argentinian countryside for a fantastic Gaucho Fiesta and Ranch Tour. We will start our tour with horseback riding with stunning countryside views. Next, we will have the opportunity to connect with Argentinian culture, learn about the unique characteristics of the “Gaucho” lifestyle, and indulge in a traditional feast.
Afterwards, we transfer back to the airport for our flight back home, arriving on the following morning (Day 21)
