DAY FOUR>

Victoria Falls National Park, Zimbabwe

This morning, we will head to the famous Victoria Falls National Park, home of the largest waterfalls in the world! Spend a few hours enjoying the many nature trails at your own pace (some with monkeys), and take in the beauty of these magnificent falls. You will see viewpoints such as Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls, & Horseshoe Falls. Your included park passes will grant you access to the entire park.

Afterwards, feel free to join us for one of these fun excursions.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION:

  • Zambezi River Sunset Cruise

Cruising down the mighty Zambezi River is a fantastic way to relax at the end of a fun-filled day in Victoria Falls. As the sun sets over the horizon, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the falls from a much different angle, as well as the surrounding wildlife.

  • Victoria Falls Bungee Jump

Take the ultimate leap of faith at Victoria Falls with an exhilarating bungee jump from the historic Victoria Falls Bridge. Suspended high above the Zambezi River, we’ll plunge approximately 364 feet toward the gorge before bouncing back for a spectacular adrenaline rush. With the Falls and dramatic gorge surrounding us, this is one of Africa’s most iconic—and unforgettable—adventure experiences.

Victoria Falls is a spectacular waterfall on the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning “The Smoke That Thunders,” it is the world's largest and arguably most famous waterfalls, stretching over 1 mile across.

DAY FIVE>

Livingstone, Zambia

032-zambia.png

Today, joined by our local guides, our group will be escorted across the border to beautiful Zambia! There is no visa required for US citizens at the moment!  Here, we will begin the day with a guided visit of Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, where we will have another spectacular view of the amazing Victoria Falls from the other side of the Zambezi, including viewpoints such as Knife-Edge Bridge, Boiling Pot, and Danger Point. The park also protects wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and white rhinos, so if you’re lucky, you may see some!

Next, we have a chance to visit the Zambian village of Livingstone, named after Scottish explorer David Livingstone. Here, we will have a chance to sample local street foods, shop at a handicraft market, and admire the colonial architecture that makes this town feel so special.

Lunch will be included today at a high-quality traditional restaurant!

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can join us for an adrenaline-pumping excursion before we head back to Zimbabwe!

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

  • Devils Pool Swim

Experience one of Victoria Falls’ most exhilarating adventures with a swim at Devil’s Pool, a natural rock pool perched dramatically on the edge of the Zambezi River. During the dry season, when water levels are low enough (when we will be there), we can safely swim right at the lip of the Falls, separated from the enormous drop by a natural rock barrier. Surrounded by spectacular scenery and rushing water, this unforgettable experience offers an incredible perspective of Victoria Falls from above and plenty of opportunities for truly remarkable photographs.

  • Gorge Swing

Get your adrenaline pumping with an unforgettable Gorge Swing above the Batoka Gorge near Victoria Falls. Suspended high above the gorge, we’ll take a thrilling leap from the edge before swinging out over the dramatic landscape below. With breathtaking views of the Zambezi River and sheer gorge walls, this exhilarating adventure combines spectacular scenery with an unforgettable rush of adrenaline.

  • White Water Rafting

Victoria Falls rafting is one of the most exhilarating white water rafting experiences in the world. The Zambezi River below the falls is a wild and untamed waterway, with rapids that range from Class 3 to Class 5. This means that there is something for everyone, from beginners to experienced rafters.

Rafting trips typically start at the Victoria Falls Waterfront and run for a full day. During the trip, you will raft through over 20 rapids, including some of the most famous in the world, such as “Oblivion” and “Stairway to Heaven.” You will also have the opportunity to swim in the river and spot wildlife, such as hippos, crocodiles, and elephants.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant and walk over to the Chobe River on the border with Namibia. Here, we will take a 3-hour boat safari and will see huge hippos, crocodiles, and rare birds.

Afterwards, we will check into our safari lodge and have the evening to relax and unwind.

During our entire time in Botswana, our game lodge will provide all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), as restaurants are quite rare in such a remote area. These are all complimentary and a part of your tour package!

Chobe National Park is one of Botswana’s most famous wildlife destinations and is particularly renowned for its enormous population of African elephants.
